Based in Singapore, Andrew has over 19 years experience and is currently leading sales activities for KBR across APAC with a focus on strategy, concepts and master-planning, the Energy Transition including hydrogen and energy vectors such as ammonia, sustainable resource use, digital platform integration and analytics, efficiency & decarbonization, and project finance advisory. Andrew has worked in over 40 countries in a variety of sectors, helping clients develop innovative integrated solutions across sectors including finance, up & downstream oil and gas, LNG, diverse chemicals & petrochemicals, fertilizers, industrial integration of renewables, mining, and government services. Andrew has been actively involved in a number of hydrogen projects relating both to pure green renewable sources, transitional ‘blue’ hydrogen sources typically from Steam Methane Reforming (SMR), in addition to blue/green renewable ammonia projects.

Edgare has been a Managing Director of Asia Green Capital since 2006 and is currently holding several positions in renewable energy companies in Asia. He is an senior advisor to Shrem Offshore Wind in India and interim-CFO for Sun Electric in Singapore. Prior to these positions, Edgare founded Asia Green Capital Partners, which was a renewable energy project development company developing wind, solar and hydro projects in Southeast Asia with the support of IFC and ADB and subsequently sold to Macquarie Capital. Before that, Edgare was Partner and CFO for BioX Group, an integrated renewable energy firm which was sold to International Power. Edgare has also worked as a Director Institutional Sales at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) in Brussels and was responsible for the Benelux Sales Team. He also held several senior positions within Rabobank International in Europe and Asia. In his last role at Rabobank, Edgare was an Associate Director for the bank’s merger and acquisition team in Southeast Asia and has advised on a wide range of Corporate Finance and M&A transactions within Europe and Asia. Edgare holds a Masters of Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and a Bachelor of Economic Psychology from the Catholic University in Tilburg (Netherlands). Edgare serves on the board of the Asia Wind Energy Association.

Godart van Gendt leads McKinsey’s energy transition work in the APAC, with a focus on cleantech (renewables, energy storage, “New Downstream” power innovations, and hydrogen). He is based out of Australia & New Zealand, and serves clients on cleantech growth strategy and the implications for the energy businesses & commodities. He joined McKinsey in 2007 in the Netherlands, and moved to the APAC in 2013. He has an MSc. in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, majoring in nuclear physics, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
